 2004 to Present

Ivan has Project & Software Management expertise in Global Financial Services, Retail, and Entertainment Industries with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of System Administration, System Design & Development, team building, customer service, problem identification & resolution.  Technologies include UniData, UNIX, UNIX Scripting, Perl, Perl Scripting, Windows 2000, MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint.  Primary application:  InfoLease (revision IL.9F, sub-releases 307, 277, 259, 201).  Modules include Accounts Receivable, Automated Clearing House, General Ledger, GL Link, Federal Highway Use Tax, Floating Rate, Inventory, Insurance, Universal Contract Interface, and Renewals.

 2006 to Present

Ivan does Custom Programming to print payment and VAT schedules for various European countries.  Modified GL interface programs to feed data to PeopleSoft and the CIT user database.  Also reengineered lockbox processing and cash batch creation for Canadian & American databases.  Created detailed process for scoring contracts/customers in Canadian database.  Modified various processes to integrate newly purchased portfolios into existing databases.  Updated custom invoice print programs.  Modified processing of LIAS insurance (interface for InfoLease) & ACH files.

2004 to 2006

Ivan designed, developed, & modified new and existing processes within the InfoLease application.  Developed processes to automate various InfoLease functions such as automating contract maintenance for selected contracts.  Provided InfoLease production support.  Developed data flow diagrams to document existing & proposed processes.  Modified existing processes to improve performance.  Managed project to develop software change management methodology, providing change management & version control for 60 independent CitiCapital applications.  Managed project to implement IBM Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest software configuration management tool.

1998 to 2004

Ivan managed projects which included building a GUI front-end to a character-based UniData application using VB.Net.  Added browser-based reports from a UniData system to download automatically to users' PCs.  Managed software development projects by developing specifications, determining scope, identifying potential risks, and hands-on involvement including programming in UniData, testing, and implementation.  Managed conversion project from a non-UniData to a UniData application.  Followed concepts of SDLC in managing projects and providing status updates.  Provided production support to clients, including preparation of documentation & training.  Directed activities of all project managers which increased the ratio of billable-to-total hours by 22%.  Managed client relationships and provided consulting services.  He also supported the following modules:  Marketing Rights Management, Worldwide Distribution Licensing, Residual Payment Processing, and Advertiser/Barter Sales.  Technologies included:  UniData, UNIX, Mentor Operating Environment, mvBase, Windows NT, Novell, VB.Net, HTML, HostAccess.

1992 to 1998

Ivan transformed an unused system into an effective management reporting & decision support tool for this multi-location retailer by modifying existing programs and writing new programs to add functionality.  Customized price change and inter-store transfer modules by recoding existing PICK processes to work with OS/2 based Point Of Sale.  Established infrastructure to support corporate systems and allow for future growth.  Provided advisory services to all departments and advised senior management on technical issues.  Identified areas where existing processes could be automated or improved.  Directed project to select hardware & software to replace existing systems in order to provide management with additional information on a more timely basis.  Technologies included:  Ultimate PICK, Honeywell DPS6, OS/2, Fujitsu POS, Windows.

 1991 to 1992

Ivan provided Information Systems and Telecommunications services to clients in various industries, including retail, direct marketing, and ticket sales.  Projects included review of least cost routing for eastern US network, saving client $350,000.

 1989 to 1990

Ivan managed all IT, Point Of Sale, and voice/data communications functions in multiple locations.  Led project to design, develop, and implement an inventory system to provide merchandise personnel with more detailed information on performance by merchandise categories.  Implemented Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.  Ensured that IT and telecommunications strategies were consistent with corporate goals & objectives.  Trained store personnel in new & enhanced processes.  Technologies included:  Reality PICK, McDonnell Douglas S18 and Spirit, Novell, Windows, IBM POS.

 1979 to 1989

Ivan managed software development, computer operations, voice & data communications, and data entry.  Prepared work flow analysis, designed forms, documented operating procedures, and trained users to comply with corporate policy & loss prevention requirements.  Led project to design & implement a direct marketing system with a call center, resulting in development of a multi-million dollar direct mail business.  Member of project team that implemented a retail software package.  Managed mainframe systems, including human resources & payroll, credit management, and online general ledger.  Developed & administered budgets in excess of $1.55 million.  Technologies included:  Reality PICK, McDonnell Douglas S18, C. Itoh PICK, Windows, IBM Mainframe, IBM POS.
