system platform from R83 PICK to Advanced PICK, then later updated the
system onto NT UniVerse in a network environment.

consulting for the company's IT needs and helped in the modernization of
their network infrastructure. He successfully created and integrated
a job proposal tracking system on top of the work order tracking system.
Then Chihming employed AccuTerm GUI to modernize both the job proposal and
work order creation entry screens from character-based interface to full
GUI mode. |

worked within the accounting department, creating custom reports on an R83
PICK system with a C.Itoh platform. This led to a long-term
relationship acting as a project leader in developing customized
manufacturing and production control systems.
His duties included
heading system migration and successfully converting programs and data to
UniVerse on an HP 9000 Unix host. He worked closely with management
as well as users to develop a shop floor production and inventory control
system. Chihming also implemented a new purchasing system then
interfaced it with their existing accounting system. |

MultiValue clients on a variety of systems and environments. Using
the PICK on PC platform, he developed in-house general business
application packages that targeted import/export and general
wholesale/retail businesses. These packages include Purchasing,
Sales Order Processing, Invoicing, Returns Inventory Control, Accounting
and Financials.
Chihming has
successfully marketed and installed these packages for businesses such as
garment importers, general merchandise wholesale & retail warehouses, shoe
importers, and a value-added gift items importer. Modules such as
Point of Sale and Cash Register interface were developed on top of these
packages then tailored to meet specific client needs. |
